Mrs. Underwood hosted a Homemade Hot Chocolate Bar to have a cozy reading with The Glass Castle! Afterschool, the fun & hard work continued as her HOBY Youth Leadership club stuffed 40 Christmas stockings for the longterm care veterans at the Beckley VA Hospital.

Ms. Clarkson 's Spanish class went to the Beckley Art Center to paint a snowman and a poinsettia. They learned poinsettias originated in Mexico and how the flowers were used for decoration, dyes, and medicine. Afterwards, they enjoyed tacos and chips and salsa from El Mariachi!

Raleigh County Schools received a $12 million Needs Grant from the WV School Building Authority on December 15 to support a $27.5 million renovation and addition project for Woodrow Wilson High School. Stay tuned for more information.

Raleigh County Schools will operate on a remote learning day Monday, December 15, 2025.
Woodrow Wrestling opened its season 3-2 at the Morse Reese Memorial Tournament at Greenbrier East. Congratulations to the day’s undefeated wrestlers: Wyatt Kennedy, Joseph Chandler and Ian Webb. Back to work preparing for Fallen Heroes next weekend at the Beckley Raleigh County Convention Center.
