Beckley Baseball
🐸🔬 Students in Miss Lucas’s class got hands-on experience last week during a frog dissection lab! Working in teams, students explored anatomy, identified internal organs, and connected classroom concepts to real-world science. We are proud of their curiosity, teamwork, and dedication to learning through investigation and discovery!
For their final project of the year, Mr. Migs’ US History classes were to make a trading card (like that of baseball and football) of a chosen political figure learned throughout the year. Students showed off their artistic talents while others in the group researched information for the flip side of the card. The following are the finished product of each group. We have some talented and driven students here at WWHS. These works will be on display in one of our hallways display cases for open house next school year.
On behalf of our faculty and staff, thank you to the Salvation Army for the delicious donuts you brought on Friday. Your thoughtful gesture brightened our day and was greatly appreciated by everyone.
We are grateful for your kindness, generosity, and continued support of our community. Thank you for taking the time to think of us and for spreading a little extra joy to our staff.

In the midst of a day dedicated to honoring our graduates, it was only fitting that we also took time to honor and remember two beloved members of our school family, Jeff Evans and Kaitlyn McAllister.
On this beautiful morning, students, staff, families, and community members came together to celebrate their lives and reflect on the lasting impact they had on our school and community. Their kindness, dedication, and unwavering commitment to their students touched countless lives and created memories that will never fade.
As we celebrate the achievements of our graduates and look toward the future, we also remember the legacy Jeff and Kaitlyn leave behind—a legacy of service, compassion, and love for others.
They may be gone from our sight, but they will forever remain in our hearts and in the spirit of our school.
