Raleigh County Schools received a $12 million Needs Grant from the WV School Building Authority on December 15 to support a $27.5 million renovation and addition project for Woodrow Wilson High School. Stay tuned for more information.

Raleigh County Schools will operate on a remote learning day Monday, December 15, 2025.
Woodrow Wrestling opened its season 3-2 at the Morse Reese Memorial Tournament at Greenbrier East. Congratulations to the day’s undefeated wrestlers: Wyatt Kennedy, Joseph Chandler and Ian Webb. Back to work preparing for Fallen Heroes next weekend at the Beckley Raleigh County Convention Center.

Jostens now does all of its cap and gown orders online. Monday, December 15th, is the deadline for ordering at the current price and also the deadline to order using a layaway or installment plan. After that date, Jostens does increase prices, requires payments to be made in full, and does not guarantee the availability of all items.
