WWHS Science Club Team WON the Science Showdown that was on Friday Feb. the 20th at Fairmont State University. Each student that was there from WWHS won a 2k scholarship! They also earned 1st place out of many counties from all over the state in Biology, 1st in Earth Science, 2nd in Chemistry and 1st Overall. Jayden Motley, Zimeng Ren, Charles Canady, and Maya Panta were the four flying eagle science club members in this hands on, lab based, science competition this year.

After qualifiers, Team 44713B-Cryptic was ranked 4th out of 33 and proved they belonged there!
Quarterfinals ✔️ Semifinals ✔️ Final match ✔️
They were bested in the final match, but this team left everything on the field. That’s something to be proud of. #WingsUp 🦅
