READ WELL

Read Well® is an alternate reading curriculum used in our elementary schools that has proven to have positive results in reading achievement with students with special needs. The program is designed to adjust to the needs of each struggling reader and builds the foundation necessary for sustained reading success.

Read Well's motivating stories and multi-sensory activities and games-including songs, poems, and chants-all work together to create a lively, engaging environment that brings reading to life and instills the joy of learning in young readers.

Ticket to Read is the kid-friendly computer-based component of READ WELL. It lets students practice important reading skills at school, home, or the library-anywhere they can access the Web.

Vmath

VMath is the alternate math program used in our elementary schools that has proven to have positive results in math achievement with students with special needs. Many students need extra support to succeed in math and pass high-stakes tests. Vmath fills critical grade level learning gaps with a balanced, systematic approach, combining print materials, robust assessment and online technology to create confident, independent learners in math.

Secondary

Language!

LANGUAGE! ® is the sister program to READ WELL. It is an alternate reading curriculum used in our secondary schools that has proven to have positive results in reading achievement with students with special needs. The program is a complete reading curriculum that focuses on all five components of reading. It is designed to accelerate literacy development for intermediate, middle, and high school students reading two or more years below their grade level.

VocabJourney is the computer-based component of LANGUAGE! It is an interactive, Web-based, student-centered learning component that encourages students to enhance and practice reading skills. Students engage in self-learning to practice vocabulary, learn additional vocabulary, practice comprehensions skills, and acquire test-prep and study skills.

TransMath

TransMath is the sister program to Vmath. It is the alternate math program used in our secondary schools that has proven to have positive results in reading achievement with students with special needs. It is a comprehensive mathematics intervention curriculum that teaches a balanced approach of computational skills sand problem solving applications. TransMath uses highly structured instruction and multi-sensory strategies to deepen conceptual understanding. By working through the TransMath program, students can achieve successful entry into algebra.
